International Commission for the Protection of the Danube River (ICPDR)
Electronic User License Agreement
NOTICE TO USER:
THIS IS AN AGREEMENT. BY USING YOUR PERSONAL ACCOUNT TO THE ICPDR
INFORMATION SYSTEM, YOU ACCEPT ALL THE TERMS AND CONDITIONS OF THIS
AGREEMENT.
ICPDR grants to you a nonexclusive access to its selected databases,
provided that you agree to the following:
1. Copyright. Data in selected databases are owned by the respective
Contracting Parties to the Danube River Protection Convention. You may
access, download and use data from selected data-base(s). You must treat
downloaded data just as you would any other copyrighted material. You
agree not to modify downloaded data. This Agreement does not grant you
any property rights in downloaded data.
2. Acknowledgement. Whenever using or otherwise publishing downloaded
data it must clearly show the ownership of the data on screen displays
and hard copy. The following wordings shall be used:
"This product includes data licensed from International Commission for
the Protection of the Danube River (ICPDR)."
For presentations on screen the note "ICPDR " will be sufficient.
3. Courtesy copy of documents. In case a document is compiled by user
partly or fully based on data originating from ICPDR database downloads,
an electronic or hardcopy version of the document shall be sent to the
ICPDR Secretariat (P.O. Box 500, A-1400 Vienna/Austria).
4. Transfer. You may transfer all your rights to use data to another
person or legal entity provided that you transfer this Agreement to
such person or entity and you inform the ICPDR Secretariat.
5. General Provisions. This Agreement shall automatically terminate,
and the access to databases cancelled upon failure by you to comply
with its terms. This Agreement may only be modified in writing signed
by an authorized officer of ICPDR.
6. Policy change. The ICPDR reserves the right to change this policy
at any time without informing the registered users.
